ORLANDO – Orlando City SC (14-9-11, 53 points) fell 4-2 to Toronto FC (6-14-14, 32 points) on Saturday night at BMO Field in its final regular season match. With the result, Orlando City will face Chicago Fire FC on the road in a 2025 Audi MLS Cup Playoffs Wild Card game on Wednesday, October 22. An early goal from Jonathan Osorio and brace from Djordje Mihailovic put Toronto ahead 3-0 by the 48th minute. David Brekalo and Duncan McGuire found the back of the net for the Lions as they outshot Toronto 31 to 12 and forced goalkeeper Sean Johnson to make eight saves on the night, but were ultimately unable to flip the deficit and prevent their first loss at BMO Stadium under Oscar Pareja’s tenure.

- Defender David Brekalo scored his first goal of 2025 and his second all-time for the Lions. Both of Brekalo’s goals have come in regular-season action.
- Forward Duncan McGuire scored his third regular-season goal of the year.
