JACKSONVILLE (Special to SportsDay Media)- — Four Jacksonville Players finished with double-digit point totals to help guide the Waves to an 83-76 victory over the Savannah Steel Friday night at Veterans Memorial Arena. The Steel ironed through the first half with a gritty effort to take a 40-38 lead at the half. However, The Waves rolled in the third quarter to take a lead into the final stanza, outscoring Savannah 27-17, but the Steel refused to go down without a fight pulling within four in the final minute of regulation. Ariel Hearn led the way for the Waves with 15 points and nine boards in the contest. Quanniecia” Que” Morrison led Steel in scoring on the night with 17 points, shooting 6-of-9 from the floor. Lasha Petree also finished with 16 points. With the win, the Waves improve to 16-4 on the season and remain atop the UPSHOT League standings.
