This is the ninth Atlanta race since the reconfiguration to the drafting style prior to the 2022 races
Atlanta held two races a year from 1960- 2010, except for 1961 when three races were held, one race a year from 2011-2020, then returned to two races in 2021. Beginning in 2023, both Atlanta races were shortened to 400 miles
The pass for the win came in the final two laps in six of the last seven races on New Atlanta, and on the final lap in four of the last six races. Four of the eight races at the new Atlanta ended under caution.
