USL: SportingJAX Drops 1-0 Decision to Dallas Trinity FC

JACKSONVILLE, Fla. (Florida Sports Wire) – Dallas Trinity scored in the 82-minute Saturday night at Hodges Stadium to hand SportingJAX their second loss in the Gainbridge Super League.

Rhea Moore came off the bench to give the visitors the win in her first game of the season.

SportingJAX’s Ashlyn Puerta and Jade Pennock each had three shots on goal. Sealey Strawn had four shots on net for Dallas.

Dallas Trinity is the only team to win both of its first three matches this season, placing them atop the table with six points. Sporting JAX secures their first-ever victory in the Gainbridge Super League after a 3-2 win over the defending champions Tampa Bay Sun. 18-year-old Puerta recorded the team’s first brace in that match.
