Brady’s Bunch: Jacksonville Jumbo Shrimp Stifled by Gwinnett Stripers 2-1

JACKSONVILLE (SportsTicker) – Jeff Lindgren worked 4.0 scoreless innings on Wednesday, but the Jacksonville Jumbo Shrimp were stifled by the Gwinnett Stripers 2-1 from 121 Financial Ballpark.

Lindgren yielded just one hit through 4.0 innings with three strikeouts before departing. With Jacksonville (68-71, 36- 29) ahead 1-0, new reliever Austin Roberts (1-2) walked Yolmer Sánchez to begin the fifth.

Joe Hudson’s double plated Sánchez to tie the game. After a pair of outs, Andrew Velazquez’s RBI single put Gwinnett (65-73, 32-31) up 2-1 for the final time
