Jacksonville QB Trevor Lawrence threw a seven-yard touchdown pass to wide receiver Tavon Austin to cut the lead to 21-11 going into the final quarter. Lawrence’s pass to tight end James O’Shaughnessy for the two-point conversion was good.

Lawrence was 23 of 42 passing for 228 yards and an interception. Lawrence also rushed five times for a career-high 39 yards.

“Offensively, we were a lot more efficient,” Lawrence said. “I did think we took a step as far as productivity. I thought we did a better job.”

Marvin Jones Jr. had four receptions for 43 yards. Jacksonville running back James Robinson rushed for 86 yards on 16 carries.

The Jaguars are on the road for two games. They travel to play the Rams in Los Angeles and face 2016 first-round draft pick Jalen Ramsey for the first time since he was traded early in the 2019 season.

Then the Titans in Tennessee.

Jacksonville will be looking for just their third win of the season. A fact not lost on defensive end Josh Allen.

“It’s not a good feeling right now,” Allen said. “We’re sick and tired of it. We’re just trying to figure out what the hell (is happening). I can’t really answer that one. Just tired of it.”

They return home Dec. 19 to play Houston.
