JACKSONVILLE (SportsTicker) – Close. But no cigar.

Jacksonville fell to 0-3 on the young NFL season as Arizona rallied for a 31-19 win Sunday at TIAA Bank Field.

Cardinals running back James Conner ran for two touchdowns. Matt Prater added a 34-yard field goal.

Running back James Robinson ran for 88-yards and a third quarter touchdown that have Jacksonville a 19-10 lead and seemed to shift the momentum. The Jaguars rushed for a season-high 159 yards.

But the visitors scored 21 unanswered points to seal the comeback.

Cardinals’ QB Kyler Murray put the visitors ahead 7-0 on a one yard run in the first quarter. Murray was 28 of 34 for 311 yards and one interception.

Andrew Wingard intercepted Murray and returned it 22 yards in the third quarter. Wingard finished with seven tackles and has now recorded 21 tackles on the season.

Arizona’s A.J. Green led all receivers with five catches for 112 yards.

Jaguars’ Rookie QB Trevor Lawrence’s second interception of the game was returned for a score by Byron Murphy. Lawrence was 21 of 32 for 210 yards including a 12-yard TD to DJ Chark.

Lawrence, who also rushed for 27 yards, is one of two rookie quarterbacks in franchise history to throw for at least five touchdowns through the first three weeks of a season.

Marvin Jones caught six passes for 62 yards.

Jamal Agnew’s 109-yard return on a short 68-yard field goal try gave Jacksonville their first lead of the day at the end of the second quarter. Last week Agnew returned a punt 102 yards for a TD against Denver.

Jacksonville’s Josh Lambo missed two extra points.

Linebacker Myles Jack tallied 10 total tackles and has now recorded double-digit tackles 14 times in his career.
Jack leads the team in tackles with 25 through their first three games.

The Cardinals improved to 3-0. Jacksonville travels to Cincinnati for a Thursday night game.
