Geico Motorcycle WW Ranch National Set for Saturday

JACKSONVILLE, Fla. – The Lucas Oil Pro Motocross Championship returns on Saturday with the second annual Geico Motorcycle WW Ranch National.

           The seventh stop on the series comes to WW Ranch with Port Orange, Fla. native Adam Cianciarulo coming off a win last weekend in the 450 class at Spring Creek, with Dylan Ferrandis of France winning the 250 class.

           Tickets are available online through ProMotocross.com as well as the day of the race.  General admission tickets are available for $50, with all VIP areas sold out.

           “We are looking forward to a great event Saturday,” said Junior Scarborough, Owner of WW Motocross Park.  “This is a great opportunity for everyone to enjoy a nationally televised event outside in a safe manner that is COVID preventive.”

           Gates open for the fans at 8 a.m., with the first wave of practice and qualifying laps.  The racing begins in earnest at 1 p.m. with the first 250 class moto followed by the first 450 class moto at 2 p.m.  The second motos begin at 3 p.m. (250 class) and 4 p.m. (450 class), with the champion being crowned following the second set of races.

           In the 450 class, Zach Osborne enters the race with a 15-point lead over Cianciarulo and a 20-point lead over defending WW Ranch National champion Marvin Musquin.  Ferrandis owns a three-point lead over Jeremy Martin in the 250 class as he looks to improve off his second-place finish at the WW Ranch National behind Justin Cooper, who is in sixth place in the point standings.
