The Associated Press named Jaguars fifth-year kicker Josh Lambo to the All-Pro second team, which includes Tampa Bay Buccaneers outside linebacker Shaquil Barrett and wide receiver Chris Godwin, with both players being awarded second-team designations from the delegation of 50 voters.

Lambo is the first placekicker to make an Associated Press All-Pro team in franchise history.

In 2019, Lambo posted the highest FG percentage (97.1) in the NFL among kickers with at least 15 attempts and tied for the fourth-highest connection rate in a single season in NFL history among kickers with at least 20 attempts.

His 33 made FGs were the second-most in the league in 2019 and the most in a single season in franchise history. Lambo is the only player in the NFL to connect on 100 percent of his FGs of at least 50 yards (minimum four attempts) this season.

Since signing with the Jaguars in 2017, Lambo has made 71 of 75 FGs (94.7 pct.), the highest percentage in the NFL during that span among kickers with multiple attempts. Since 2017, Lambo has made 10 of 11 FGs from 50-plus yards and is the only kicker with at least 10 attempts from 50-plus yards to connect on more than 75 percent of those kicks.

Barrett earned his first career AP All-Pro selection after leading the NFL with a Buccaneers single-season franchise record 19.5 sacks. The 19.5 sacks are the most in a season by any undrafted player since sacks became an official statistic in 1982.

Barrett finished his first season in Tampa Bay with 58 tackles (19 for loss), 37 quarterback hits, 19.5 sacks, six forced fumbles, two passes defensed and one interception.

In addition to leading the league in sacks, Barrett ranked tied for first in quarterback hits, second in tackles for loss and third in forced fumbles. His three games with 3.0-or-more sacks are tied for the second-most in a season, trailing only Pro Football Hall of Famer Lawrence Taylor’s four in 1986.

The 37 quarterback hits tallied by Barrett are the most by a Buccaneers player and the sixth-most by any player in a season since quarterback hits became regularly tracked in 2006. His 19 tackles for loss are the fourth-most by a Buccaneers player and second-most by an undrafted player since tackles for loss became an official statistic in 1999. Meanwhile, Barrett’s six forced fumbles are the fourth-most in a season in team history.

Godwin becomes the second Buccaneers wide receiver to ever earn AP All-Pro honors after posting career highs across the board this season with 86 receptions for 1,333 yards (15.5 avg.) and nine receiving touchdowns. He finished third in the NFL in receiving yards and tied for fourth in receiving touchdowns, while ranking second among receivers with 577 yards after catch and leading the NFL with 25 receptions of 20-or-more yards.

The third-year receiver out of Penn State recorded six 100-yard receiving performances this season, which tied for the second-most in the NFL. In addition, he hauled in multiple touchdown receptions in a game three times in 2019, which tied for the most such games in the league this season and matched the most in a season in Buccaneers history. His 1,333 receiving yards are the fourth-most for a single season in team history, while his 86 receptions are tied for the third-most.

The team’s two All-Pro selections are its most since 2016 when linebacker Lavonte David, wide receiver Mike Evans and defensive tackle Gerald McCoy all earned second-team designations.
